Hi! I’m Rose.
IBCLC, registered nurse, and passionate supporter of families during those early, tender feeding days. Supporting families in Arvada and the surrounding areas.
My journey into lactation began while working as a postpartum nurse. I quickly saw just how much of a difference skilled, compassionate breastfeeding support can make in those first days and weeks. I was drawn to the blend of education, hands-on care, and empowerment, and knew I wanted to specialize in this work to better serve families during such an important time.
I officially became an IBCLC in 2026, but my experience supporting families started long before that through my work in OB, postpartum, NICU, and pediatric nursing. I currently also support children with oral aversions and feeding challenges, which has deepened my understanding of infant feeding and strengthened my ability to assess and troubleshoot even complex situations.
What I love most about this work is witnessing the changes that happen when parents begin to feel more confident and connected with their baby. It’s a privilege to walk alongside families during such a vulnerable and meaningful season.
I take a supportive, collaborative, and hands-on approach with the families I work with.
I believe breastfeeding is not one-size-fits-all, and I always start by truly listening - understanding your goals, concerns, and experiences before offering guidance. From there, we create a plan that feels realistic, sustainable, and tailored to your family.
I have experience supporting a wide range of feeding challenges, including latch and positioning, hand expression, NICU feeding transitions, and the use of tools like nipple shields, supplemental nursing systems (SNS), cup feeding, spoon feeding, and syringe feeding. I’m especially passionate about helping families find simple, practical adjustments that can make a big difference - like identifying subtle tension or positioning preferences that completely change a feeding experience.
The feedback that means the most to me is when families say they felt truly heard. When parents feel supported instead of rushed or dismissed, everything changes - and that’s where real progress happens.
If I could leave you with one encouragement, it would be this: there is no one “right” way to breastfeed. Your journey is unique, and what matters most is finding what works best for you and your baby. You deserve support that honors that—and I’m here to help you every step of the way.
I’m originally from Michigan and have called Colorado home for the past several years. I’m based in Arvada and love the active, family-centered community here, along with the easy access to the outdoors.
Outside of work, you’ll often find me hiking, skiing, baking, exploring new restaurants, or spending time outside in the sunshine. I grew up dancing and still love taking (and occasionally teaching) ballet classes in my community. One of my favorite traditions is helping my grandma decorate her “Charlie Brown” Christmas tree every year on Black Friday.
Fun fact: I’m one of seven children—and yes, my mom breastfed all of us!
