In this interactive virtual class, taught by Denver-based IBCLC Katie Clark, you’ll learn everything you need to prepare for a smooth start: from mastering latch and positioning to protecting your milk supply in the a early days.
We’ll cover how to initiate breastfeeding, potential issues, how milk production works, how to identify and address possible supply challenges before birth, and the essentials of pumping so you feel ready from your first feed.
Whether you plan to exclusively nurse, combine nursing and pumping, or return to work, you’ll leave with a clear plan, practical tips, and the confidence to meet your feeding goals.
This class goes beyond the basics of how to breastfeed to set you up for best chance at success.
This class is limited to 20 people and is focused on families in the Denver area. Katie’s practice is based in the Denver Metro area. This class is free but donations are encouraged to help keep it accessible to all.
We recommend taking this in the late second trimester or third trimester of pregnancy, and you should be pregnant. If your baby is already here, please contact 720-463-4016 for what lactation support options we can offer you!
