Hi, I’m Breck!
IBCLC, former NICU nurse, and lifelong believer in the magic of breastmilk.
My journey into lactation started at the bedside in the Neonatal ICU. I saw, firsthand, the incredible difference between babies who received breastmilk and those who didn’t, so much so that donor milk was often used if a mother couldn’t provide her own. That experience opened my eyes: breastmilk truly is magical.
When I had my first daughter, I knew I wanted to breastfeed. But it wasn’t easy, I struggled with low supply and leaned on lactation groups, consultants, and endless research to make it work. Through those challenges, I not only learned so much for myself but also discovered how deeply I loved supporting others. That’s when I decided to become an IBCLC.
I’ve been practicing as a lactation consultant since 2013, blending my NICU nursing background, social work experience, and years of hospital-based and outpatient lactation care. I’ve walked with families through every phase, preparing in pregnancy, navigating those very first feeds, pumping in the NICU, and finding solutions with older babies.
What it’s like to work with me:
I have a relaxed and gentle approach. I like to follow my client’s lead, tailoring support to how aggressively (or not) they want to pursue their feeding goals. Whether it’s easing latch pain, boosting confidence, or finding a pumping rhythm that works, my role is to listen, reassure, and provide options that fit your family.
The feedback that means the most to me? Seeing the shift when a parent goes from stressed and in pain to smiling and confident. Watching that transformation never gets old.

Take a deep breath - you’re doing great. It really does get easier, and I can’t wait to help you find your confidence and reach your breastfeeding goals.
I live in Greenwood Village, Colorado, with my husband, our three kids, and our goofy 6-year-old bernedoodle, Walter (who thinks he’s tough but is basically a 50-pound muppet). Summers often find us on a lake in Michigan where I grew up, and winters might find me skiing closer to home. When I’m not chauffeuring my kids around, I love traveling, sewing, and curling up with a good book.
Fun fact: I grew up on a dairy farm in a tiny Michigan town, so I’ve been around milk in one way or another my whole life!
